Appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court in 1972, Judge Robert London served for 11 years and supervised Discovery and Law & Motion courts. Judge Robert London was Supervising Superior Court Judge of the Northwest, North, and North Central Districts, presiding over 21 trial courts. He served on the Second District Court of Appeals, Division One, on special assignment by the Chair of the California Judicial Council. In 1971, Judge Robert London served on the Los Angeles County Municipal Court. Judge Robert London was Presiding Civil Judge in Van Nuys and a Supervising Judge in the Central District. In 1970, he was elected by Superior Court judges to be a Commissioner, where Judge Robert London served until his appointment to the Municipal Court. Before being appointed to the court, he was in the private practice of law as a partner with Shea & Gould in Los Angeles. Judge Robert London frequently teaches and lectures for universities, bar associations and the CEB, and he is the author of numerous published writings. Since his retirement, Judge Robert London has been one of Southern California’s sought after neutrals, mediating and arbitrating hundreds of cases per year. EDUCATION:
